Ross B. GlickmanPrincipal Chairman and Chief Executive OfficerRoss B. Glickman is the Principal, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Urban Retail Properties, LLC. Mr. Glickman has an exceptional track record of success in property leasing, management, and retail business growth. Before being named Urban Retail’s top executive, Mr. Glickman was the company’s President of Leasing and was instrumental in enhancing the value of the company’s portfolio of distinctive properties, and worked closely with third-party clients to bring Urban Retail’s full complement of services to meet the needs of their properties. Mr. Glickman has held executive-level positions at a variety of national retail organizations, playing key roles in the growth of each. Prior to joining Urban Retail in 1991, he was President of Glickman Properties, a shopping center development firm. During that time he formed a joint venture with Steven Roth, CEO of Vornado. From 1984 to 1989, Mr. Glickman was Director of Real Estate for The Limited, where he was responsible for expanding the company’s divisions, including the Limited Stores, Limited Express, Victoria’s Secret, Lane Bryant, Lerner, and Sizes Unlimited. From 1979 to 1984, Mr. Glickman was Director of Real Estate for General Nutrition Center (Pittsburgh), where he expanded the company from 500 to 1,500 company-owned stores nationwide in only four years. From 1973 to 1979, Mr. Glickman was a Vice President of The Athlete’s Foot, where he grew the Pittsburgh division of the specialty retail athletic footwear chain from one store to 400. Mr. Glickman holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from The Ohio State University. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), a Trustee of the Illinois Economic Development Board, Advisory Board Member of the Paul Simon Institute at Southern Illinois University, on the Executive Board of the Roosevelt University School of Real Estate, a member of the Cornerstone Advisory Council of the Greater North Michigan Avenue Association (GNMAA), and a board member of Chicago United.
