Retail Sq Ft: 65,000 square meters
Currently the tallest building in the world, Taipei 101
is an iconic landmark and national symbol for Taiwan.
Positioned on the first six floors of the vertical mixed-use
facility is the 65,000 square meter Taipei 101 Mall. The
mall boasts 185 shops in total, including 40 food court
operators, nine themed restaurants and six cafes.
For the 6.1 million residents of Taiwans capital city,
Taipei 101 offers the most exclusive and desirable retail
amenities. One hundred fashion and specialty brands join 30
of the most desirable luxury tenants such as Louis Vuitton,
Bvlgari, Cartier, Gucci, Prada and Versace. Other
attractions such as the world-famous restaurants and
nightclubs create a premier shopping destination geared
toward world travelers.
Internationally recognized architect C.Y. Lee conceived
Taipei 101s design, which is inspired by traditional Chinese
architecture with a shape resembling a pagoda. Its massive
60-foot spire allows the building the distinction of highest
structurally, but it also holds the title in the categories
of highest roof and highest occupied floor. The Taipei 101
Tower includes 76 levels of office suites, exhibition and
function facilities, restaurants, bars, a fitness center and
two observation decks located on levels 89 and 91.
This wonder of engineering is located in Hsinyi District,
the new central business district of Taipei.
